Hall of Fame Class of 1942
Dalton Fuller was a deaf athlete who rose to the ranks of professional baseball and was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the USA Deaf Sports Federation in 1954.
Fuller played baseball for the Kansas School for the Deaf 1900-1903, trained by Kansas Baseball Hall of Fame member Luther Taylor.
Fuller, an infielder, went on the University of Kansas and played semi-pro ball in Wichita.
Fuller spent most of his life in Wichita where he was a cabinet maker and foreman of a furniture manufacturer. He died in Wichita in June 1969, at the age of 84.
