Tom Kornhaus

Tom Kornhaus was born in Peabody in 1913 and played football, basketball and baseball at Wichita University from 1934-36. 

He played pro ball at Bartlesville (OK) in the late 1930s and later played semi-pro ball in Wichita in the early 1940s. 

Kornhaus also coached baseball and basketball at Wichita’s Cathedral High and after World War II reinstalled the school’s football program in the late 1940s.

Kornhaus died in Wichita in 2000 at the age of 87.
