Rocco Peter Krznic / Krsnich was born in 1927 in Wisconsin.
In 1945 he signed a professional contract with the Philadelphia Phillies. The following year, he was in the New York Yankees organization and was selected in the minor league draft by the Chicago White Sox.
In 1949, Krsnich hit .318 with 20 home runs and 91 runs batted in with Memphis of the Southern Association. That earned him a callup with the White Sox, with whom he played in 16 games at third base and also played during the 1952 and 1953 seasons. Across three major league years, Krsnich hit .215 with three home runs and 38 RBI.
Following his major league career, Krsnich was Most Valuable Player of the 1962 NBC World Series, leading the Wichita Rapid Transit Dreamliners to the championship. He also made the All-Tournament team in 1961, also with the Dreamliners.
Krsnich died in Overland Park in 2019 at the age of 91.
