Jim Mitchell

Jim Mitchell was a power-hitting second baseman who played professionally in the New York Giants’ organization.

A shoulder injury ended his professional career, but Mitchell was able to join the Wichita Boeing Bombers during their back-to-back NBC World Series titles in 1954 and 1955.

Mitchell was an all-around athlete at the University of Oklahoma in baseball, basketball, football and tennis.
