Brad Hill
Hall of Fame Class of 2018

Brad Hill has won more than a thousand games as a head coach and is Kansas State University’s winningest coach with 468 victories.  A two-time Big 12 and ABCA Midwest Region Coach of the Year, Hill guided K-State to four NCAA Regional berths, its first Super Regional appearance and only Big 12 Conference title.  The 2013 title was the Wildcats’ first conference championship in baseball in 80 years.
Hill’s tenure saw 82 Wildcats earn All-Big 12 accolades, including conference players of the year Nick Martini (2010) and Ross Kivett (2013). In his 15 seasons at the helm, Hill coached 64 selections in the MLB Draft.
Originally from Galva in central Kansas, Hill was a standout player at Emporia State.  He led the Hornets to the 1984 NAIA World Series and was selected by the Texas Rangers in the 35th round of the 1984 MLB Draft.  He reached Class AA before beginning his coaching career.
Hill first coached at Hutchinson Community College, winning 83 games in three seasons.  He was an assistant for four seasons under Kansas Baseball Hall of Fame coach Dave Bingham at the University of Kansas during which time the Jayhawks reached the College World Series for the only time in school history.
In 1995, Hill became head coach at Central Missouri State.  He took the Mules to the NCAA Tournament nine times and won the Division II World Series in 2003.  That season, Hill was named national coach of the year.
Hill spent the 2022 season as an assistant at Northwestern University and the next two seasons as head coach at Emporia State.  He has won 1,015 games in 29 years as a head coach.
Hill is currently an assistant at Dartmouth University under Blake McFadden, who pitched for Hill at Kansas State.
